First founded in 1988 by Aletta Bax and Peter Stas, Frederique Constant was born out of a desire to make outstanding luxury watches available to everyone. The brand’s first collection was released in 1992, a collection that comprised of six models fitted with Swiss movements assembled by a watchmaker in Geneva. Today, the brand is entirely involved in all stages of watch production from the initial design to the assembly of every component. Their collections have also increased greatly, with a stunning range of Frederique Constant watches for men and women to choose from.
One of the brand’s most notable achievements is the Frederique Constant Manufacture, a place where movement component production, calibre assembly and extensive quality control takes place. It is here where they have created some of the industry’s most celebrated in-house mechanical movements using cutting edge computer software and only the most talented Swiss watchmakers. As well as classic three hand automatic movements, Frederique Constant has created exquisite GMT, world timer and calendar complications as well as their highly celebrated Tourbillon Manufacture which boasts an accuracy only one can dream of!
