Following a record number of entries for the Midlands Family business awards, the shortlist has been announced. Amidst revealing plans for an innovative new educational, tourism, manufacturing, business and retail development, Derbyshire based fine jewellers, CW Sellors, have been shortlisted for the Retail Excellence Award which has been launched this year.
The awards will be judged by different panels of independent judges through an interview process. The Retail Excellence category is a new award for 2013 and is for family businesses across all retail sectors that can demonstrate success across a broad range of measures. The judges review retail experience and significant projects, key qualities, family values and future plans and aspirations. Last year, CW Sellors were shortlisted for the Manufacturing Excellence Award and received runner up for this category. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 14th November.
