CW Sellors and Queen Elizabeth Grammer School Shrovetide Competition

C.W Sellors challenged the pupils of local Queen Elizabeth Grammar School to design an iconic charm to commemorate the 2014 Shrovetide game. The design needed to capture different features of the match including the goals, the Up'ard and Down’ard alliance and the general heritage of Ashbourne’s historic game.

Head of art, Natalie Jennings said: “When CW Sellors approached us with their Shrovetide charm competition brief we jumped at the chance to give our sixth form art students an opportunity to experience designing for the creative industries”

The winning designer will work with the C.W Sellors in house creative team and get involved with the production of their charm, which will be available to purchase in our Victoria Square Boutique early 2014.
