As the sun comes out, so does our love of bolder and brighter colours, and adding to our summer wardrobe is Zodiac with a new range of Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Ceramic watches. Now engineered from hardened white ceramic and dressed in radiant sunburst dials, the legendary Swiss made diver’s watch becomes more suited to the hotter months than ever before.
Last year, Zodiac celebrated their 140th anniversary in style by launching their Super Sea Wolf watch in ceramic for the first time. Named the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Black Ceramic ZO9595 watch, the design was celebrated as one of the most affordable ceramic watches on the market. It clever utilised a stainless steel core and a black ceramic outer shell to deliver all the scratch resistant, lightweight and hypoallergenic properties of ceramic but at a much more accessible price. Yet again, the Swiss watchmaker returns to the allure of ceramic to create a new range of summer-inspired watches. This time, the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Ceramic Summer collection elects white ceramic for the cases and brighter hues for the dials.

The new Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Ceramic Summer Edition watches are a little larger than their steel counterparts, sitting on the wrist at 41mm in diameter. The 1mm increase is purely down to the use of hardened white ceramic on the case, but the smooth, glossy finish of the material barely allows any notice to this small change. The stylings of the cases are exactly what we’ve come to expect. They have comfortable, downturned lugs, a screw in crown at 3 o’clock and a screw down case back for a 200 metre water resistant rating. On top, each Zodiac Super Sea Wolf White Ceramic watch has a matching white ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel with a printed 60 minute scale in dark navy. There’s a luminous pip at 12 o’clock and on reference ZO9591, bold orange accents on the first 15 minutes of the scale allow for effortless legibility.
There are currently three Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Ceramic Summer Colour watches for you to enjoy. Each has a radiant sunburst-finished dial with Superluminova across the hours, minutes and seconds hands and hour markers. Reference ZO9590 dresses its centrepiece in a deep navy blue and pairs it with a contrasting pastel blue minutes track to match its blue rubber strap. Meanwhile reference ZO9591 has an elegant champagne sunray dial with an orange minutes track and secures to the wrist by an orange rubber strap. Finally, reference ZO9592 showcases an electric lime green dial with an orange flange and a green rubber band.
Each of the rubber straps on the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Ceramic Summer watches are crafted from Italian rubber and are uniquely scented in vanilla. They also have a tonal debossed Zodiac logo at the end and secure to the wrist by white ceramic pin buckles. To power the diving watches, Zodiac nominates the Swiss-made STP 1-11 automatic winding movement with a 44-hour power reserve, 26 jewels and a frequency of 28,800vph.
