Talented jewellery designer Regitze Overgaard headed the creation of the Georg Jensen Curve jewellery collection, solidifying her position as one of the brand's most significant collaborators. Regitze’s story began in 1970 when she embarked on her journey in goldsmithery as an apprentice in Gentofte, Denmark. After graduating from the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts a few years later, she established her own workshop in Copenhagen. Regitze then collaborated with renowned jewellery brands such as Buch + Deichmann and Royal Copenhagen before embarking on her first project with Georg Jensen in 1987.
Since then, Regitze Overgaard and Georg Jensen have enjoyed a fruitful partnership, resulting in the creation of numerous iconic designs. Their most notable collaborations include the enchanting Magic collection in 2001, the captivating Carnival collection in 2006, the elegant Regitze Silver collection in 2009, and the recent revival of the historic Grape and Daisy lines. Together, Regitze and Georg Jensen have continuously pushed the boundaries of jewellery manufacture, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
One of the duo’s best-selling collaborations is the Georg Jensen Curve jewellery collection.
