The Damiani jewellery brand was established in the goldsmith district of Valenza Po in Italy by master goldsmith Enrico Damiani. Already a master of gold and gemstones, Enrico increased his reputation for fine jewellery manufacture when he launched his first official collection of Damiani jewellery in 1924. Ten years later, Enrico’s son Damiano was born who would later play a pivotal role in the growth of the business helping the Damiani jewellery business grow in notoriety. The Italian jewellery brand is now in its third generation, ran by Silvia Damiani and her brother Giorgio. In 2007, Damiani was listed as one of the most prestigious Made in Italy companies and was listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
