Legendary Danish jewellery designer Georg Jensen gets into the spirit of spring with a new range of Daisy jewellery. The elegant, floral-inspired necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings embrace a new selection of pastel-coloured enamels including hues of green, pink and blue.
The Georg Jensen Daisy jewellery collection has long been one of the designer jewellery brand’s most distinguishable collections, inspired the national flower of Denmark which is the home of the Georg Jensen brand. Also known as the “marguerite daisy”, the flower is named as such after it was gifted to the newly born Royal Princess Margrethe in 1940. In the same way, today’s Georg Jensen Daisy jewellery collection captures the innocence and beauty of mother nature with breathtaking floral motifs decorating settings of sterling silver and 18 carat yellow gold.
Previously, Georg Jensen Daisy jewellery was characterised by only three materials: sterling silver, 18ct gold and white enamel. The combination of these three materials created a fresh and sophisticated aesthetic that could be worn just as easily with jeans and a t-shirt as it could a little black dress in the evening. Each necklace, ring, bracelet and earring opted for either sterling silver or 18 carat gold for the base and white enamel for the petals.
Now for the spring of 2023, Georg Jensen has revealed a new range of Daisy jewellery which introduces for the first time a range of pastel-coloured enamel to the designs. These new creations have been designed in partnership with Copenhagen fashion designer Stine Goya, with an aim to reimagine the coveted collection in a more contemporary way. You can choose from Georg Jensen Daisy jewellery in shades of mint green, pastel blue and rose pink.
One of our favourite pieces in the new Georg Jensen Daisy jewellery collection is Daisy Ear Cuff which comes as a single piece and elegantly slips onto the ear without the need for a piecing. The petals are overlaid with green, pink, blue and white enamel which all contrast playfully against the rhodium-plated sterling silver body. The Georg Jensen Daisy Drop Earrings are as equally impressive, electing several daisy motifs down a single sterling silver chain for a dramatic yet delightful look.
