Each year C W Sellors is invited to Baselworld, arguably the largest and most exclusive event in the watch world. There’s no denying that Baselworld 2019 was one of the biggest to date with all our favourite luxury brands revealing new innovations and designs that left us in awe. From Breitling to Grand Seiko, Oris to Bremont, we were spoiled at each meeting as they unveiled all their stunning new Baselworld 2019 releases.

Grand Seiko Elegance Spring Drive Platinum Limited Edition Watch (SBGZ001J)
To mark the 20th anniversary of Grand Seiko’s famous Spring Drive movement they have released this breathtaking Grand Seiko Elegance Platinum limited edition. Boasting a slim profile made from exquisite platinum and a movement offering a one-second-a-day precision, there isn’t much more we can ask for in a luxury watch.

Bell & Ross BR 03 92 Bi Compass Limited Edition Watch (BR0392-IDC-CE/SRB)
Remaining true to their aviation heritage, Bell and Ross have unveiled this striking BR 03 92 Bi Compass Limited Edition which closely follows the design elements of the navigation tools used in military aircrafts. It’s jet black dial and luminous blue markings become unmissable on the wrist during both day and night while its unique minute track is something we have never seen before from the brand.

Nomos Glashutte Tangente Sport Neomatik 42 Date Marine Black (581)
There was lots to love from Nomos this year, but one thing in particular that we were incredibly excited to see was the new range of Nomos watches featuring a stainless steel bracelet, something never done before by the brand. This Nomos Tangente Sport Neomatik watch was one of our favourites for its smart dial and automatic DUW 6101 calibre made completely in-house.

Breitling Cockpit B50 Orbiter Limited Edition Watch (VB50106A1O1S1)
A year hasn’t gone by that Breitling haven’t amazed us at Baselworld and 2019 was no different. The Breitling Cockpit B50 Orbiter was instantly noticeable at the table for its bright orange aesthetic and black carbon-coated titanium case. This limited edition has been released to commemorate 20 years since the Breitling Orbiter 3 became the world’s first hot-air balloon to fly around the world non-stop.

Junghans Form A 100 Jahre Bauhaus Limited Edition Watch (027/4937.44)
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus, Junghans have released this colourful Form A 100 Jahre Bauhaus Limited Edition. The classic three-handed watch embodies the essential aspects of the Bauhaus movement where “Form follows function” which a crisp white dial decorated with rainbow coloured indices and a glass caseback engraved with an image of the Bauhaus building.

Sinn 104 St Sa A G Limited Edition Watch (104.0111)
Famed for their classic pilot watches, Sinn are back with another to add to their collection: the Sinn 104 St Sa A G. This limited edition brings a striking metallic-green dial that shimmers in the right light and a special engraved marking on the rotor to signify its limited run of 500 pieces. Just like any Sinn watch, optimal readability is made a priority with large Arabic numerals and thick hour and minute hands coated in Superluminova.

Bremont Martin Baker MBIII 10 Year Anniversary Watch (MBIII-WH-BR-D)
To mark the 10-year anniversary of their partnership with Martin Baker, Bremont have released a limited edition Bremont Martin Baker 10 Year Anniversary watch. This stunning timepiece has undergone the very same tests as the original but has now been equipped with a brand new GMT hand. In typical Bremont fashion, they have also included a special engraving on the case back of a MK16 ejection seat from the F-35 fighter jet.

Oris ProDiver Dive Control Limited Edition Watch (01 774 7727 7784-SET)
We love a high performing diving watch and Oris sure didn’t disappoint at this year’s Baselworld. This Oris ProDiver Dive Control limited edition brings together a lightweight black DLC coated titanium case and ceramic uni-directional bezel with an amazing water resistance of 1,000 metres. The Oris 774 automatic winding chronograph movement also provides, unlike most chronographs which carry a 30 minute counter, a full 60 minute counter displayed in sporty yellow at 12 o clock.

TAG Heuer Autavia Isograph Bronze Watches (WBE5191.FC827, WBE5190.FC8268)
For Baselworld 2019, TAG Heuer have released an entire new range of Autavia watches that embrace the brand’s connections to the world of aviation. Within this collection of pilot watches are two TAG Isograph Bronze editions that we have completely fallen in love with. We have always had a soft spot for bronze since it creates a natural patina from perspiration and pH levels in the skin, but with the extraordinary smoked dial and vintage style straps, the bronze looks exceptional.

Raymond Weil Tango GMT Bob Marley Limited Edition (8280-ST1-BMY18)
For fans of the king of Reggae, Raymond Weil have released this breathtaking Raymond Weil Tango GMT Bob Marley limited edition full of exquisite design tropes inspired by the icon himself. From the famous lion head on the dial to his signature on the caseback, there isn’t much missing on this watch that doesn’t tribute the legend. We are particularly a fan of the colours used on the dial that are inspired by the Ethiopian flag.
