TAG Heuer supports their Global Brand Ambassador, Ryan Gosling, as he stars in Netflix’s must-see film of 2022 The Gray Man. Gosling plays a skilled operative on the run from a psychopathic former colleague, relying on one of the Swiss manufacturer’s iconic Carrera Three Hand watches.
From serious stunt driver in Drive to his all-singing, all-dancing role in the Oscar-nominated Lala Land, Ryan Gosling is an actor with a limitless range. This fearlessness and need to challenge himself in every way possible was one of many reasons why TAG Heuer deemed the Canadian actor the perfect brand ambassador, and so last October, that very news was announced. For his latest role, Gosling pushes himself even further in the Netflix Original film The Gray Man. Directed by the duo behind Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame (Joe & Anthony Russo), the 2022 international spy thriller see’s CIA’s most skilled operative, Sierra Six played by Gosling, accidently uncover dark agency secrets. Upon doing so, a former colleague, played by Chris Evans, puts a bounty on his head, setting off a global manhunt by international assassins.
A preview of the trailer above reveals some of the many parallels between the storyline and TAG Heuer’s famous motto “Don’t crack under pressure”. As such, it seemed only right that their brand ambassador sported one of their most durable watches throughout the movie: the legendary Carrera. What else would an elite super-assassin on a high-octane chase wear? The TAG Heuer Carrera was originally launched in 1963 for the high-speed pursuits on the racetrack promising only the best in precision and performance – exactly what any respectable agent needs to make those split-second decisions between life and death.
