Designed by American jewellery designer Jacqueline Rabun, each Mercy ring, necklace, bracelet and earring is handcrafted to symbolise relationships and the importance of compassion and empathy.
Jacqueline Rabun is one of the leading figures in modern jewellery design and much of her work takes inspiration from emotion. She is no stranger to the Georg Jensen brand. Before the Georg Jensen Mercy jewellery collection was born, she designed a range of Offspring jewellery, a series inspired by the bonds between family, whether that be mother and daughter, siblings or friends. Similarly, Rabun spotlights companionship and love for the Mercy collection but instead focuses more on the idea that we should all strive to meet others needs by showing mercy, patience and kindness. The organic and fluid shapes of Georg Jensen Mercy jewellery beautifully embody just this and evoke the way we ourselves evolve and adapt to help others through their experiences.

Georg Jensen Mercy Sterling Silver Twisted Long Drop Earrings
A perfect example of captured emotion, these Georg Jensen Mercy earrings are ever-evolving, changing shape and form with every movement of your head. Handcrafted from sterling silver, the design gives the illusion of being just a simple, single strand when faced head on but when you tilt to either side just slightly, it exposes its magnificent fluid shape which wraps around itself. This Georg Jensen Mercy Diamond necklace is one example of several gold designs within the series, and it captured our attention almost immediately for its dazzling array of brilliant cut pave diamonds. A total of 0.33ct diamonds decorate the organically-shaped pendant which sits on a matching 18 carat yellow gold anchor chain easily adjustable using several loops.

Proving itself as a portfolio of modern masterpieces, the Georg Jensen Mercy jewellery collection is also home to this exceptional Mercy Double ring. It’s unique, free-flowing form gives the impression of two separate rings but on closer inspection surprises with one single strand of sterling silver sweeping smoothly around your fingers. The design is again inspired by the twists and turns in life while the sudden break represents pause for thought, bringing again the emotional aspect of mercy and compassion to light.
