The Georg Jensen Daisy jewellery collection has always stood out as one of the most iconic collections from the designer jewellery brand, inspired by the national flower of Denmark which is the home of the Georg Jensen brand. Also known as the “marguerite daisy”, the flower is named as such after it was gifted to the newly born Royal Princess Margrethe in 1940. In the same way, today’s Georg Jensen Daisy jewellery collection captures the innocence and beauty of mother nature with breathtaking floral motifs decorating settings of sterling silver and 18 carat yellow gold.
On its original release, the Georg Jensen Daisy jewellery collection arrived in sterling silver and 18 carat gold with the petals of the flower adorned in crisp white enamel. More recently however, the Scandinavian brand has partnered with Copenhagen fashion designer Stine Goya to reinvent the collection with more colourful enamel.
In 2006, Stine Goya, a Danish designer, launched her own brand to the world. At this time, Danish fashion was predominantly characterised by minimalist aesthetics and subdued colour palettes, but Goya's vision diverged from this norm. Drawing endless inspiration from the vibrant atmosphere of Copenhagen, she embarked on a remarkable journey of creativity and self-expression. Through her collections, Goya delved into a captivating exploration of colours and prints, skilfully establishing a distinctive presence within both the local and global fashion scene.
Bringing her love of colour with her, Stine Goya has transformed the Georg Jensen Daisy jewellery collection into a colourful masterpiece, swapping out the traditional white enamel petals for ones of mint green, rose pink and pastel blue enamel. With new colours also comes new designs including Georg Jensen Daisy Ear Cuffs which arrive as a single piece that elegantly slips onto the ear without the need for a piecing. There’s also Georg Jensen Daisy hair clips and stunning new Georg Jensen Daisy necklaces that completely cover your decollétage in flowers.
