The Fabergé Imperial Jewellery Collection

Jewellery & Watch News

If there’s one collection to perfectly represent the glamour, majesty and expertise of the House of Fabergé, it is the Fabergé Imperial jewellery line. Dressed in exceptional white diamonds, pearls and coloured gemstones, these 18ct gold pieces are inspired by the splendour of the Imperial Romanov court, the very same that bestowed Fabergé with the title of "Goldsmith by special appointment to the Imperial Crown".

To fully enjoy the beauty of the Fabergé Imperial jewellery collection, we must first take a look back at the Maison’s history. In 1882, following Peter Carl Fabergé’s acquisition of his father’s company, he displayed some of his work at the Pan-Russian Exhibition in Moscow. It was here that none other than the Tsar Alexander III witnessed it, and falling in love with his exquisite craftsmanship commissioned him to create a series of Fabergé ester eggs for his wife, Empress Maria Feodorovna. Known as the legendary Imperial Easter Eggs, the House of Fabergé created 50 unique eggs in total. Alexander III presented many to his Empress while his son Nicholas II presented his own to his mother and his wife, Empress Alexandra Feodorovna. Following this, the House of Fabergé was bestowed with the coveted title "Goldsmith by special appointment to the Imperial Crown".

Inspired by elements of the original Imperial Easter Eggs and the brand’s relationship with the Imperial Romanov court, the House of Fabergé reveals its Imperial jewellery collection. Available to royals and everyday folk alike, the series features a stunning range of egg-shaped pendants, earrings and rings evoking the magnificence of Russian royalty and the changing seasons of the country. All different in their composition and colour, all Fabergé Imperial jewellery pieces have one thing in common: they are inundated with only the finest diamonds and coloured gemstones.

The Fabergé Imperial Zenya pendants are one of many fine examples of the jewelled splendours found within the Fabergé Imperial jewellery collection. The necklaces are characterised by their exquisite egg-shaped pendants carefully handcrafted from 18 carat white gold. The eggs showcase subtle openwork detailing for a mesmerising finish and come set with a combination of round white diamonds and a choice of round blue sapphires, rubies or emeralds. Each Fabergé egg pendant hangs from a matching 18 carat white gold chain.

For an undeniably royal look, we urge you to explore the breathtaking Fabergé Imperial Impératrice Tassel Earrings. These statement pieces are unmissable for their long tassels of beads crafted from sapphires, rubies or emeralds set in 18 carat white gold. The main earring setting is also finished in white gold and moulded into a unique heart shape, set with brilliant cut white diamonds and completed by a single coloured gemstone at the centre.

Lastly, perfectly suited to the winter months is a range of Fabergé Imperial Snowflake Stud Earrings. These dazzling designs are inspired by the famously cold season in Russia and the thick snow that covers the ground. The 18 carat white gold snowflake earrings come in two sizes. The smaller of the two is adorned with 13 brilliant white round diamonds while the larger statement studs boast an impressive 38 brilliant white round diamonds.
