Another men’s smartwatch that is guaranteed to make his Christmas morning is the Garmin Fenix 7. Montblanc Summit 3
A men’s smartwatch that looks nothing like a smartwatch but a traditional Swiss made watch, the Montblanc Summit 3 is perfect for gentlemen with a penchant for timeless and elegant aesthetics. Crafted from titanium with slender lugs and ergonomic profiles, these Montblanc smartwatches sit spectacularly on the wrist secured by a range of different leather, rubber or metal straps. Despite their traditional look, they are the undeniably modern, noted as the first non-Samsung device to run the new Wear 3.0 operating system. It brings a 30% increase in performance, slicker animations and increasing loading time for apps. Garmin EPIX 2
Last up in our run down of the best men’s smartwatches for Christmas, we have another premium wearable from Garmin. The Garmin EPIX delivers much of the same spec as the Garmin Fenix 7 with 42mm fibre-reinforced polymer cases and all the same health, fitness, wellbeing and navigational apps (minus the flashlight feature). The main difference however is the display. While the Fenix 7 is solar-powered, the Garmin EPIX 2 watch boasts a high-resolution AMOLED display. This is undeniably brighter and more vibrant compared to the Fenix 7. It lends itself incredibly well to tools like the preloaded mapping and animated workouts. This also means a change in battery life, now at 16 days in smartwatch mode. There’s still the coveted wrist based heart rate monitor, Pulse Ox sensor, Garmin Pay, music storage, the new real-time stamina function, visual race predictor, multi-band GPS, on-screen workouts and much more.
