TAG Heuer forever changed the standard of smartwatch manufacture with the launch of the world’s first Swiss Made smartwatch. The original TAG Heuer Connected landed in 2015 and has since expanded to include even more revolutionary materials and technologies including interchangeable straps, updated operating systems and sleeker cases. For the collection’s latest instalment, the Swiss watch manufacturer adds two new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Bright Black & Golden Bright Editions into the mix with rich black and gold colourways.
What’s New?
Starting with the new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Bright Black Edition smartwatch, this black DLC coated model is going to tempt the wrists of those looking for a sleek and resolutely contemporary smartwatch for the everyday. It’s the largest out of the two, offering a 45mm wide case engineered from grade 2 titanium with a black DLC sandblasted coating. It comes with a screw in steel crown and flat pushers also coated in black and a black ceramic rotating bezel with elegant accents of gold lacquer across its surface. The contrast between the black and gold provides exceptional readability of the 60 minute scale.
For a smaller and arguably more traditionally elegant look, we’re also welcomed to the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golden Bright Edition smartwatch. This design makes history as TAG Heuer’s first smartwatch in full golden PVD. It’s 42mm case is engineered from stainless steel and entirely coated in rose gold PVD coating with alternate polished and brushed finishing. There’s rose gold plating on the crown, pushers and bezel which sits beside sapphire crystal glass. While the 45mm Bright Black Edition watch is completed by a black calfskin leather strap with a black rubber lining, the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golden Bright Edition opts for a black leather strap with a bold red lining. Both straps secure to the wrist by folding buckles with double safety push buttons.
The new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Bright Black & Golden Bright Edition smartwatches also debut a new smartwatch display called “TONOS”. It comes in ten different colours, each with elegant golden indexes and complications to match the rest of the designs’ new colour palette. The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Bright Black Edition retails at £2,400 while the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golden Bright Edition retails at £2,000. Neither models are limited.

Alongside their new elegant colourways, the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Bright Black & Golden Bright Editions deliver all the familiar technology as the rest of the luxury smartwatch collection. They are water resistant to 50 metres and come equipped with a huge range of customisable watch faces. There’s also all the latest sports apps and features including preloaded activity profiles for outdoor running, cycling, swimming, golf and walking. Fitness fanatics will enjoy features like the guided workout app which includes pre-set workout lengths, customisable programmes and on-screen animations.
The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Bright Black & Golden Bright Edition smartwatches continue to provide a full day of battery life and the several wellbeing apps and social features so you can stay connected to loved ones even while on the move. There’s also the latest Wear OS by Google, Bluetooth 5.0 and classic sensors including accelerometer, heart rate monitor, compass, and GPS.
