Luxury Swiss watch manufacturer TAG Heuer have taken notice and for 2021 have updated their pioneering Connected smartwatch with a new Wellness App. The app is designed to allow users to track their daily activities with ease, monitoring everything from their steps to their workouts to help keep themselves motivated and committed to a healthy and happy lifestyle. How to use the TAG Heuer Connected Wellness App
To use the TAG Heuer Connected Wellness App, start at the watch face and push the crown at 3 o’clock to open the list of apps. Scroll down the list with your finger and once you land on TAG Heuer Wellness, simply tap. If its your first time using the application, you’ll need to complete your profile to get accurate tracking. This includes filling in details about your gender, age, height and weight and selecting how active you are such as how often you partake in light, moderate and high intensity activities. Once you complete the profile, the watch with automatically suggest the number of steps and calories you should aim for. You can also amend to suit your own preferences if you prefer. After you activate the service, the watch will track your steps, calories, heart rate and active time and help coach you to have a more active and healthier lifestyle. To deactivate the service, you can do this at any time by going to the settings at the bottom of the TAG Heuer Wellness App.
Features of the TAG Heuer Connected Wellness App
The key feature of the TAG Heuer Connected Wellness App is its unique display which presents two rings to show your progress towards your daily steps and calories goal. At the centre of the rings, your heart rate is displayed. By swiping down, you can view the number of steps you took that day alongside the history hour by hour. It doesn’t matter whether you took a 30 minute walk around the block or just got up from your desk to make a cup of coffee, the TAG Heuer Connected watch tracks all your steps. Beside your step count, you can see a percentage marker to show you how close you are to your goal.

Swipe up again and you can see more information about your calories burned again with a percentage rating of how close you are to your goal. Calories are not counted all day but only when during more than moderate intensity such as walking, yoga or gardening. Keep swiping up the touchscreen display to view information about your heart rate and its evolution since the beginning of your day and access more information on how active you’ve been this week, and how each minute benefited your body. Your activities are split into three categories: Peak (85-100% HR Max), Cardio (70-84% HR Max) and Fat Burn (50-69% HR Max).
On your chosen Watch Face, you can also display some of these wellness features for access at a quick glance including your live heart rate, steps, calories count and the rings to follow your daily goal. To show this data, simply double tap on the complication you want to change and choose the TAG Heuer Wellness app to select your preferred tile.
