Adding accents of forest green to its lightweight sports watch, Breitling introduces the Breitling Endurance Pro Green watch with athletes and explorers in mind.
In 2022, Breitling surprised the world with the release of its Professional Endurance Pro collection. Described as the ultimate athleisure watch and launched alongside Breitling’s Triathlon Squad consisting of Iron Man World Champions Jan Froderno, Chris McCormack and Daniela Ryf, the set of colourful sports watches beautifully honoured a 1970’s Breitling watch known as the Spring. This model, with its lightweight resin design and pulsometer scale was dedicated to helping athletes check their heart rate on something comfortable and wrist-based. Offering exactly that but with additional modern technologies, the Breitling Endurance Pro watch collection expands to welcome a new green-dialled model.
For the case of the new Breitling Endurance Pro Green watch, you can expect to find much of the same spec as previous editions. The imposing 44mm diameter is engineered entirely from Breitlight, a patented material created by Breitling which promises to be 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than steel. It is also nonmagnetic, thermally stable, hypoallergenic, totally scratch proof and boasts a unique dark textured appearance. The case sits 12.5mm high on the wrist and ensures a 100 metre water resistance thanks to the screw down crown and case back. There’s also sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating and a bi-directional rotating bezel equipped with a white printed compass scale.
The novelty of the Breitling Endurance Pro Green watch is of course its dial. No longer black, the display is coloured in a handsome military green shade giving the sports watch a more utilitarian aesthetic than before. Around the edge, the pulsometer scale remains but this time in black which matches with the black counters for the small seconds, 12 hours and 30 minutes. Adding to the military vibe are large stencil-like Arabic numerals and sharp skeletonised hands for the hours and minutes, all of which come coated in glow in the dark Superluminova.
Like the rest of the Professional Endurance Pro collection, the Breitling Endurance Pro Green watch is equipped with a sporty Breitling-embossed rubber strap, this time coloured in the same forest green as the dial. Powering the watch is the Swiss watch brand’s legendary SuperQuartz movement, the B82 calibre to be exact which aims to be 10 times more accurate than a standard quartz movement. It is COSC certified and boasts 22 jewels.
