During the middle of last year, Frederique Constant launched its own take on the luxury sports watch with its Highlife collection for men. Now, this very same name befits a series of new lady’s models designed to accompany women of sophistication and glamour with a durable and aesthetically pleasing sports watch. Available in steel or rose gold plated cases with or without diamonds on the bezel, meet the new Frederique Constant Ladies Highlife collection.
Followers of the Frederique Constant brand will already know that the Highlife collection is no newcomer to the brand’s extensive portfolio of luxury watches. In fact, the first Frederique Constant Highlife watch was launched back in 1999 and then revived again just last year in 2020. The men’s series of Highlife watches attracted favourable coverage in the world’s watch press, praised for their barrel-shaped cases, integrated and interchangeable straps and choice of complications which included a classic three-hand and date design, a perpetual calendar and a Heart Beat watch with a handsome skeletonised aperture at 12 o’clock. The Frederique Constant Highlife watches also impressed with their own Manufacture movements and their remarkably attractive price points.
Now, the Swiss watch brand revisits the Highlife collection and adapts it to a female wearer. The appropriately named Frederique Constant Ladies Highlife Collection delivers a series of 34 millimetre models available in classic stainless steel or rose gold plated cases. The first reference FC-303LG2NH6B features a classic stainless steel case with a grey-sunray finished globe-decorated dial and an integrated three-link bracelet. Reference two, FC-303BD2NH6B, is also delivered in stainless steel but has a black dial and eight diamonds. Next, reference FC-303NSD2NHD6B is sometimes referred to as the Highlife Ladies Automatic Sparkling for its 60-diamond set bezel and glittery diamond blue dial. This model is a limited edition of 888 pieces and comes with an integrated steel bracelet and an extra white rubber strap. Lastly for the three-hand date automatic models is reference FC-303VD2NHD4B. This piece is the most luxurious engineered from rose-gold plating with a 60-diamond set bezel and white dial with diamond indices. Like the previous design, this piece is a limited edition and comes with an additional light pink rubber strap.
On the wrist, the Frederique Constant Ladies Highlife watches sit at 9.8mm high and guarantee a 50 metre water resistant rating, convex sapphire crystal over the dial, applied luminous indexes and hands and a see-through exhibition case back. Through the back you can admire the FC-303 automatic winding calibre which fuels the hands for hours, minutes and seconds, the date window at 3 o’clock and the power reserve of 38 hours.
Alongside the four three-hand and date models, the Frederique Constant Ladies Highlife Collection is home to two Heart Beat watches. This design was also unveiled in the men’s Highlife collection last year with the new 34mm models similarly featuring a circular aperture at 12 o’clock to show off the balance wheel of the FC-310 automatic winding calibre within. There are currently two Frederique Constant Ladies Highlife Heart Beat watches to choose from. The first under reference FC-310SD2NH6B is crafted from stainless steel and features a silver dial with the same globe decoration with white luminous markings and eight diamond dot indices. This piece is delivered on a stainless steel bracelet or can be swapped out for a light blue rubber strap included in the box. Lastly, reference FC-310VD2NH2B features a stainless steel case and a rose gold plated bezel, rose gold plated crown and two-toned bracelet. The silver dial is again treated to diamonds and two strap options are delivered including a steel bracelet and a light pink rubber band.
