As one of the UK’s leading British jewellery manufacturers, C W Sellors have long held a proven track record in providing investment into many highly skilled roles and machinery at their Derbyshire jewellery workshops in Ashbourne. Following on from this success, and due to the continued growth of Jura Watches – our dedicated watch arm of the business – we are now bringing the same investment and focus to their watch repair and aftersales services.
With a purpose-built workshop due to be opened this October (2017), located at our Ashbourne boutique, they will be well equipped to handle specialist repairs and offer a full suite of watch related services on-site. In what is good news, not for just putting Ashbourne and the East Midlands on the map for such specialist services, the development will also create several new and skilled positions. In the first phase of recruitment and having individually overseen their watch department for 5 years, Andy Hamilton has recently been joined by Watchmaker Walwyn Fletchman to drive forward this exciting new era for the company. Walwyn joins the company with a wealth of industry experience and accreditations which includes work with Rolex, Breitling and Cartier. In the second phase of development, the company will look to fill at least two more trainee positions in the department and maintain their focus on bringing bright new talent into both the jewellery and watch industry.

We are always on the lookout for aspiring new talent and actively encourage school leavers, or those in higher education, with an interest in watch or jewellery making to come forward.
