Jewellery & Watch News
The two day annual event took place this year on 10th and 11th November. Festive fun and creativity was combined with a stunning array of jewellery and watches.
This year, Christmas Wishes included guest speakers from The Goldsmiths Company and The Gemmological Association of Great Britain. Visitors were able to hear about hallmarking, diamonds and gemstones. Additionally, international brands at the event included Faberge, Mikimoto, Fope and Breitling plus British collections handcrafted in Derbyshire at the CW Sellors in-house workshops.
"Last year's event at Chatsworth was good, but this year's (we went yesterday - Sunday) was so much better. The increase in watches, seemingly without degrading the quality and variety of the jewellery, was very good - especially for me as I love watches. The man on the area where Ebel and Bremont watches were certainly knows a great deal about and is passionate about all sorts of makes. The young lady on the Faberge area was so pleasant even though we could not afford the thousands needed for the jewellery on display. She went to the same talk given by Shaun Leane. I hope she found it as interesting as we did. The lady on Shaun's stand was also so wonderful. All in all, the show was great. We own a cottage at Runswick Bay so Know the Sellor's family stores over many years. At the show yesterday I bought an enamelled on silver crab ornament and my daughter bought a watch for her fiancé’s birthday. Many thanks for the invite. Hope to see you at Whitby and at Chatsworth next year".
