Jewellery & Watch News

Through our own manufacturing capabilities we have been fortunate to work with several local charities over the years to help raise important funds with individually inspired jewellery collections.

As a family run business C W Sellors has always placed a high value on childhood and encouraging youth, as evidenced by the success of Rebecca Sellors, the second generation in-house jewellery designer. Historically C W Sellors has been an active fundraiser, committed to supporting the work of the NSPCC but it was eager to do more. Following a meeting with Claire Campbell, Community Fundraising Manager and the Sellors team, it was decided to create a special jewellery collection for children, whereby a percentage of every sale will revert to the NSPCC.

“It was a joy to design this NSPCC’s children’s collection. I thought about what would appeal to me, as my younger self, something simple and colourful,” says Rebecca Sellors. For more information on the charity visit www.nspcc.org

Holding wonderful jewellery inspiration, C W Sellors are proud to be in their third year of supporting Derbyshire Wildlife Trust through sales from a range of animal inspired designs which includes bats, owls and badgers.

With so many different wildlife aspects to consider for this collection, it was fun seeing what animals and designs would work. Through the ones we have chosen, we hopefully created a fun, stylish and collectable range which anyone can enjoy. Each piece is finished in sterling silver and handcrafted in the UK at C W Sellors Ashbourne workshop, with a percentage of every sale helping support the local work of the Wildlife Trust.

In a local collaboration, C W Sellors are proud to introduce their National Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer charity bracelet, inspired by the incredible work of the Derbyshire-based charity. The collection brings together the official ribbon symbol logo in silver and enamel for breast and ovarian cancer, together with a silver ‘brave charm,’ (a circular brave disc with the official charity logo engraved on the back) which represents the bravery of women fighting against the disease.

Each piece from the collection has been handmade from sterling silver, cubic zirconia and enamel.

The bracelets retail for £140 each. 20% of every purchase will go towards the charity and help with their efforts to support and educate people who encounter the disease in their lives.
