Spring has sprung and in celebration of the lighter nights, blue skies and blossoming flowers, House of Fabergé has introduced a new, brilliantly bold jewellery collection adorned in neon lacquer and sparkling white diamonds. Let us introduce you to the Fabergé Essence Neon jewellery collection…
Over the last half decade, Fabergé has been all about colour. Within their Heritage, Essence and Treillage collections, we have seen more colourful gemstones than ever before as well as new shades of enamel and lacquer. You may also remember the popular Rainbow Surprise Locket they launched back in 2020 to raise funds for COVID-19 causes and before that, their Colours of Love collection was unveiled in collaboration with their ‘A Life in Colour’ campaign which celebrated their responsibly sourced coloured gemstones from Gemfields’ mines in Zambia and Mozambique. These are just a few examples of Fabergé’s mission to spread happiness and excitement, and now joining the queue is a new range of Fabergé Essence Neon jewellery.
Designed to impart a zest for life to the wearer, the new Fabergé Essence Neon jewellery embodies their ‘A Life in Colour’ mission perfectly, adorned in five exciting neon shades, 18 carat rose gold and elegant white diamonds. Just like all of the creations in the Fabergé Essence collection, these new releases honour the fine jewellery maker’s history, in particular Peter Carl Fabergé’s original Imperial egg masterpieces created during the 1880’s. Each necklace is adorned with a gorgeous, egg-shaped pendant in a choice of two sizes and five colours: neon pink, yellow, green, orange or blue.
The vivid colours are created by applying neon lacquer onto an 18 carat rose gold base. The smaller 18mm Fabergé Essence Neon necklaces pair the bright egg motif with a sparkling diamond belt which wraps around the entire circumference. In total, there are 27 round brilliant cut white diamonds circling the egg pendant totalling to 0.17 carats. Meanwhile, the larger 22mm Fabergé Essence Neon pendants keep the bold lacquer smooth and clear, opting for diamonds on the bail instead. In this case, the bail is adorned with 13 round brilliant cut white diamonds with a total weight of 0.04 carats.
All of the Fabergé Essence Neon necklaces are completed by a 1.3mm trace train in 18 carat rose gold and in keeping with Fabergé’s penchant for surprise, each egg features a Gemfields Mozambican ruby at the base. It was back in 2021 that the House of Fabergé announced they were joining forces with Gemfields, a world-leading supplier of responsibly sourced gemstones, to create their coloured gemstone jewellery. The two Gemfields mines, the Montepuez Ruby Mine in Mozambique and the Kagem Mine in Zambia, are industry leaders in their practices, ensuring their gemstone sourcing benefits the nations and the communities that surround them. To date, proceeds from Gemfield’s emerald and ruby auctions have facilitated the provision of schools, mobile health clinics and projects to establish improved livelihoods for thousands of families.
