The Garmin Fenix 6 watch collection was only released this summer and we can safely say it has been of our best selling smartwatches to date. The high performing multisport outdoor GPS watch is fully loaded with an outstanding range of functions to help you on your way, whether that way be up a mountain, in the gym, down a ravine or just out to the shops. The Garmin Fenix 6S Pro Sapphire smartwatch is one of our favourite models within the Fenix 6 collection and has also proved popular with men who prefer smaller sized watches and women who like something larger than the traditional women’s smartwatch.
The Garmin Fenix 6S Pro Sapphire watch measures to 42mm in size and is the smallest variant in the entire collection. The case is equipped with highly quality sapphire crystal glass renowned for its scratch resistance which houses the sunlight-visible, transflective memory-in-pixel touchscreen display. Each model showcases the same smartwatch features with the latter two more expensive variants showcasing premium strap materials.

Now let’s get into some of the extraordinary features that the Garmin Fenix 6S Pro Sapphire watches have to offer. One of Garmin’s newest technologies debuting in the Fenix 6 is the Power Manager function which allows you to see how various settings and sensors impact your watch's battery life, so you can make battery-extending changes when needed. Another new feature is the Body Battery Energy Monitor which examines your body's energy reserves, using heart rate variability, stress, sleep and other data to gauge when you're ready to be active or when you may need to rest. Another new feature is the PacePro technology, something highly coveted by runners. This first-of-its-kind feature helps keep you on pace with grade-adjusted guidance as you run a course.
Like its predecessor, the Fenix 5, the Garmin Fenix 6S Pro Sapphire smartwatches come with all the usual technologies like sport apps, wrist based heart rate monitor, performance metrics and an impressive battery life – although the Garmin Fenix 6 battery life has now been improved to provide up to 9 days of battery life in smartwatch mode, 6 hours in GPS mode with music and up to 34 days in battery saver mode. For the adventurous of us, we also have a ClimbPro ascent planner, access to multiple global navigation satellite systems including GPS, GLONASS and Galileo, ABC sensors including an altimeter for elevation data, barometer to monitor weather and three-axis electronic compass and of course a Pulse Ox sensor.

For those that spend just as much time exploring as they do living a typical 9-5 day, the Garmin Fenix 6S Pro Sapphire is highly equipped with a variety of everyday essentials that will keep you connected to the world. Smart notifications allow you to receive emails, texts and alerts right on your watch when paired with a compatible smartphone while the fantastic Music apps give you room to store up to 2,000 songs on your device alone as well as access to preloaded streaming apps like Spotify. Of course, we also have Garmin Pay functionality so you can breeze through checkout lines with the handy contactless payment feature.
