The story of Damiani jewellery began in 1924 in the heart of the goldsmith district of Valenza Po. A gentlemen and master goldsmith named Enrico Damiani opened up his first workshop and began to create a selection of unique jewellery pieces. It wasn’t long before Enrico became the jeweller to several great families in the region, handcrafting bespoke works of art for respected men and women. In 1934, Erico celebrated the birth of his son Damiano Damiani and throughout his childhood he himself fell in love with the magic of fine jewellery manufacture. Damiano would eventually join the company and launched a process of industrial and commercial expansion which would see the Damiani jewellery brand grow exponentially. The early nineties saw the arrival of the company’s third generation with Silvia Damiani and her brothers Giorgio and Guido. The trio still head the company today and have taken it to new heights, receiving as many as 18 Diamonds International Awards, otherwise known as the World Oscars for Jewellery.
