Dating back to the 1700s an orrery is a mechanical device that illustrates the relative position and motions of the planets and moons in the Solar System. Inspired by the famous Joseph Wright painting - A Philosopher Lecturing on the Orrery - and the monument in Derby city centre, C W Sellors sterling silver handcrafted orrery pendant features black rhodium and red and yellow gold gold-plated planets. The pendant is sold complete with an attractive 30 inch sterling silver box chain.
