The Seiko 5 Sport watch collection was born in the 1960s. Seiko utilised the Calibre 4R36, equipped with a 41 hour power reserve to drive these newer models, complete with a central hacking seconds hand.
There are now different sub-categories of the Seiko 5 Sport collection, appealing to different collectors, personalities and their respective requirements. These comprise; Specialist, Sports, Suits, Street and Sense models. Each iteration is complete with three dimensional hour markers and the collection offers plenty of variety in terms of dial colours and strap or bracelet options.
There are also vintage inspired models from the Seiko 5 Sport watch collection that have returned in popularity over the years. Some newer models exude this desirable vintage look, like the diver watch designs finished on stainless steel mesh bracelets.
