Royal Visit, The Queen Is Visiting Matlock

July the 10th will see a Royal visit to Matlock in Derbyshire, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh the Queen will be arriving by train into Matlock station at midday before making visits to Matlock town, Lea Mills and then attending a reception and private luncheon at Chatsworth House. This is the Queens first official visit in 22 years and will be welcomed into Matlock with Royal bunting, musicians and a Royal party atmosphere.

We will be rolling out the red carpet out at our Matlock store and filling the window with Royal bunting and our finest pieces of Blue John jewellery in attempt to catch the Queens eye and entice her in, her last visit to Derbyshire was for the opening of Carsington Water reservoir in October 1991.

Carsington Water is a site close to hearts here at C.W Sellors and where we are proposing to build our new design and educational centre, we hope the centre will bring huge benefits to the area, including educational benefits, expansion of British manufacturing and new jobs!
