Highlights From The Year Of 2014
Wednesday - 31 December 2014
2014 has been a really busy year here at C.W Sellors, we have highlighted a few occasions we are most proud of below
This year we had four members of staff who celebrated long standing service with C.W Sellors, within a variety of positions within the company. Graham Harrison, Mathew Hatch, Paul Barker and Vanessa Woodall have been employees of C.W Sellors for 25 years. Congratulations!
We all enjoyed this years Shrovetide activities, some of us joining in and others watching the game from a distance. The 2014 balls were displayed within the window of our Ashbourne boutique for all to appreciate the work of Simon Helleby and Tim Baker before the game started.
On the 10th of July The Derbyshire Dales received a Royal visit from the Queen, she arrived by train into Matlock station where she was met by her driver for a trip through Matlock town centre. C.W Sellors created a very patriotic window display in support of her visit and managed to take this superbly timed shot outside the boutique.
C.W Sellors have opened two new stores this year, one in the Derbyshire town of Matlock and the other within the Victoria Quarter in Leeds.
Our Alice in wonderland themed Christmas Wishes event event held at Chatsworth exceeded all expectations again this year, this fabulous event saw guest appearances from Athlete Colin Jackson and the Derbyshire artist Paul Cummins creator of the ceramic Poppies displayed around the grounds of the Tower of London to mark the centenary of the First World War and remember all those who lived and fought during this time.
In association with one of our watch brands Maurice Lacroix C.W Sellors raised £1900 for a charity which promotes mens health worldwide, we raised the funds by selling tickets allowing customers to be in with a chance of winning an exclusive limited edition Maurice Lacroix watch, designed especially for Movember. We were proud to have been able to help raise money for such a worthy cause.
We have great plans for the year 2015 and will need the continued support of all our customers and employees to see dreams come true.
